is a Burlington, Ontario based, Marketing
& Web Strategy outsourcing practice run
by Jonathan
Burns.
Jonathan spent the first 6 years of his career in Brand
Management at Procter & Gamble Canada. There he was trained in
the
best practices of strategy development built on primary consumer
research. He created P&G Canada's Interactive
Marketing Group
in 2000 and oversaw the online work of over 40 brands and $7 million in
annual interactive marketing spending. He led several significant
“firsts” for P&G Canada: building their
first on-line
permission-based consumer database; bringing their first
multi-brand email CRM programs to Canada and setting up the first
internet sampling fulfillment system.
Jonathan left P&G to join Echo Marketing
Solutions where
he spent 2 years as Director of Operations leading a team of 45 staff
including an outbound Call Centre, IT and Client Services departments.
Echo Marketing Solutions provided monthly donor file conversion
services to some of North America’s largest
not-for-profits. The highlight was leading his operations
team
through over 300% growth in 10 months.
Jonathan has been doing consulting work for small and
mid-sized businesses since 1997, helping them solve strategic,
marketing, sales, HR and operational issues.

- Jonathan was born in South Africa and moved to Canada
when he was 12.
- Jonathan has completed 2 trips around the world and
has visited over 30 countries in his travels.
- Jonathan loves to surf but is a terrible surfer. (But
in warm water only... none of this Nova Scotia in January business.)
